Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary

Day 2: Game Drive and boat Trip

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking

Day 5:  Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 6: Game drive and afternoon Boa trip

Day 7: Visit Kyambura gorge and then proceed Lake Mburo National Park

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary

A Zarcar Safari Guide will pick early morning and drive north-west through the famous Luwero triangle.

Stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which was created by the Rhino Fund Uganda for the breeding of Rhinos which will later be re-introduced into Uganda’s protected Areas. Enjoy Rhino tracking in beautiful surroundings and other wildlife present on the ranch including bushbuck, leopard and Uganda Kob. Have lunch then continue to Murchison falls national park. Diner and overnight at Budget Accommodation: Red Chili Camp or Luxury Accommodation: Paraa safari Lodge

Day 2: Game Drive and boat Trip

You will be picked by our Tour Guide after an early morning breakfast you to take for a game drive within the park.  Expect to see the big four animals including Buffalo, lion and Elephant leopard. You will also spot the giraffe, antelopes and a number of bird species. Return to the lodge after the early morning game drive until lunch. In the afternoon, you will go and participate in a launch trip up the Nile. Here you will get a chance to see water animals like the Nile crocodiles, Hippos and a number of water birds. Diner and overnight at Budget Accommodation: Red Chili Camp or Luxury Accommodation: Paraa safari Lodge

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest national park

This Morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale forest national park for chimpanzee trekking. You will have a lunch stopover before continuing to your lodge at the park where you will have dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge or Kibale Forest Camp

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking

After early your guide will drive you to Kanyanchu Tourist center for briefing before going for chimpanzee tracking tour. These apes are more closely related to humans that to any other creatures. Kibale National Forest is well known for its unique primates in East Africa. On the walk you will go through this tropical moist forest to find the chimpanzee. After having your lunch, optional Bigodi swamp walk or relax at your hotel. Primate Lodge or Kibale Forest Camp

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Have a cup of coffee in the morning, and after drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, this journey will take you through the historical Kasese town with the clear view of the mountains of the moon. You will also enjoy a game drive on your way to the accommodation facility in the middle of the park which provides a chance to spot many animals like waterbucks, warthogs and other wildlife. Evening is at your own leisure Dinner and overnight at Simba Safari Camp or Mweya safari Lodge.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth national park

You will begin with a game drive in the morning towards the mating grounds of the Kobs, we look for the great residents of the park, and these include the lions, elephants, buffaloes and early risers, before transferring at the lodge for lunch.  After having your lunch, you will proceed to Kazinga channel to take a boat cruise. Its shores attract a large number of birdlife, mammals and reptiles year around. The boat cruise on Kazinga channel is a must visit for all tourists visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at budget Simba Safari Camp or Mweya safari Lodge.

Day 7: Visit Kyambura gorge and then proceed Lake Mburo National Park

Wake early to experience a different face of the park. Spend the morning tracking chimps in Kyambura Gorge. Explore this ‘underground forest’ before a picnic lunch overlooking the gorge, or at one of the nearby lodges.Proceed South-westwards and arrive at Lake Mburo in the afternoon, check into your choice of accommodation. Take an evening game drive and encounter zebras, buffalo, elands and impalas along with a great variety of birds. Overnight and dinner at Rwonyo Rest Camp (Budget) or Arcadia Cottages (Upmarket)

Day 8:  Nature walk and Launch trip on Lake Mburo

After breakfast go for a guided nature walk on the western side of the lake begin at 7am and take two hours. At this time of day, you may encounter hyenas returning to their dens and hippos retreating to the lake. Hikes through the woodland provide an opportunity to sight forest birds and mammals, while the walk to the top of the hill rewards visitors with a spectacular view of 9 of the region’s 14 lakes come back to your Lodge for Lunch. In afternoon take a tranquil evening boat ride along the eastern banks of Lake Mburo. Keep an eye out for crocodiles, buffaloes and hippos as well as colorful Kingfishers, magnificent Fish Eagles, Hammertoes and their enormous nests and even the prehistoric-looking Shoebill against the setting Sun .Night at Rwonyo Rest Camp (Budget) or Arcadia Cottages (Upmarket)

Day 9: Transfer back to Kampala

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala. This will be the end of our safari.
